Do you have a dish that is a staple in your family's cooking? For my family, it's pork kimchi. It's delicious stir-fried on its own, as well as in fried rice, and surprisingly, it's also great in soup. However, the soup requires a special preparation, so it's not as simple as just adding it in. I suddenly had a craving for it, so I called my mother and asked for the recipe. She told me that it's necessary to marinate the meat for at least one day, so I'm still waiting for it to finish marinating in the refrigerator. I can't wait to eat it! I only made one serving to test it out, but if it turns out well, I plan to make a larger batch to use in fried rice and soup.
