Why is it so delicious?

While walking through the shopping district today, I noticed a meat shop with a sign that read "Famous! Large Croquettes!" I was feeling a bit peckish and curious, so I decided to buy one and give it a try. There was a nearby park, so I sat on a bench there and ate it. It was incredibly delicious, and I was very satisfied with both its size and taste.
Come to think of it, why are meat shop croquettes always so delicious? I sometimes buy them at different shops, but I've never had a bad one. It made me nostalgic and reminded me of when I used to buy them often in high school and eat them while walking.
It was a pleasant afternoon.
